Knitting a Woobie baby bunny blanket and I'm stuck :(

I’m knitting a “blanket buddy” for a friend of mine who is having a baby. I’ve knit the blanket, which I knit from the outside in, it’s a design by Kris Carlson, called the woobie baby bunny. I’m stuck on the shaping of the head. The instructions say :
Knit until 1 st on the end of needle 4, turn, sl1, purl across to 1st at end of needle 3, turn, sl1,knit to the end of the round.
Okay, so which needle do I slip that last stitch onto? The one I just finished??? So if I slip it, then the working yarn is on the stitch just before that slipped stitch. So does that mean I don’t purl that slipped stitch, but just leave it there??? So confusing :frowning:
thanks,
Holly

Slip the last stitch on the working needle, the stitch that you just finished knitting onto needle 4, leave it there. Yes, it’ll have the working yarn attached to it. Purl back across the sts on the working needle to the first stitch and turn again. The fact that the working yarn is on the end of needle 4 as you start to purl across needle 3 is no different than working between any two dpns.

I bet this will be much loved.
