Knitting a twist at the beginning of a row

Hey, everyone I’m working on the shrug called Ritratto criss cross
bolero. There is a large count criss cross at the beginning of the row
and no mater how I try to twist or cross the fold or twist does not fall right. How is this done. Has anyone done this pattern. Please
help!

How does the pattern say to do it? It’s okay to write a couple lines that you’re having trouble with so we can read them and help.

Is this the pattern?

Exactly which instruction are you having problems with?

Thanks for finding it Marilyn. It must be this step -

[FONT=arial][SIZE=2]15. Twist Center Front: Much like a very large cable, place 31 (33, 35) sts on holder, hold to front of work, K31 (33, 35) sts & then knit sts from holder & remember to keep it LOOSE.

It is like a cable - put the sts on another needle or dpn, let them flop to the front, knit sts from the left needle, then knit the ones that were held.
