Hello, I have knitted a long time ago when I was young and an expecting mother, then before my 3 grandchildren were born… and someone gave me boxes and boxes of quality yarns, I would like this week to start knitting again!!! 2 adults scarffs, not too tight , something soft that i would end saw to make a circle , what is now the trend, do you have any ideas, paterns, directions, links , for me to accomplish them fast in 10 days before Xmas for my 2 Daughter in laws a handmade gift? I could be wrong, but I think what you are looking for is a pattern for an Infinity scarf. That is a scarf that has no ends, it is just a big loop that you can wrap around yourself over and over, so it never unwinds.
I am still a novice so I can’t help, but I thought it would help to give you the name so you can find the right pattern. Hope I got it right. 
Right, an infinity scarf. There are lots of patterns or you can use any scarf pattern and join the cast on and bind off. If you use a provisional cast on, you can join the live sts at the end of the scarf to live sts from the cast on very neatly with a 3-needle bind off (no sewing necessary).
Look for one you like here or search with Google. The search on Ravelry can be narrowed to chunky weight yarn which will make the projects go quickly in the time left before Christmas.
