Knitting a Collar with the Zig Zag look

Can anyone help me in teaching me how to knit a wing collar ? This is the first time I am knitting a sweater and I can’t find any patterns for this? Please help!

The best thing to do is pull out a shirt with a similar design and take a look at it.
In general, those collars are formed in two parts.
The first involves knitting the garment so that it is either cardigan/jacket style or has a small placket (like a polo shirt) When the garment is closed, except for the top button, the corners fold out, creating the lower part of the “zig zag”.
Take that same garment you are visually deconstructing and fold close that lower portion and stand the top part of the collar up. The top portion of the “zig zag” is just a stand up collar like a mandarin style, with no overlap.
It’s actually relatively easy to construct on your own.

I hope that is helpful.
