but then again, this is coming from someone who painted her house purple (intentionally), so maybe i’m not the best judge

Hehe, well, I love the color purple and her goal was to have something not boring to wear under her scrubs (she’s an RN), so that’s def. colorful.

Now Mienna, those colors aren’t so awful! Besides, she won’t need a nightlight to get to the kitchen in the middle of the night, and there’s nothing wrong with that, is there?

They look loverly. To tell the truth, I’m a little intimidated by socks. Those DPNs make me nervous. I think I’ll stick with simpler things for now, like a 27-color intarsia beadspread in fingerling yarn for a California-King bed!

:lol: That is very true, only worry now is them frightening her if she turns on the light out of habit. :shock:

And if a 27-color intarsia bedspread is simpler, I’ll stick to socks. I’m scared of intarsia or fair isle (there is a difference, right?). So many colors, I’d get half way done and realize I messed up at the very beginning, that’s a trip to the psych hospital for meee. :wink:

There’s probably a difference, I’m sure Ingrid will tell us! :wink: I know nothing about intarsia yet.

Keep knitting, even if it’s not in mutiple colors. It’s the best way I know to stay out of the psyche ward!

I like a different sort of pair to wear once in a while myself, days you need to be WOKEN UP! :smiley:
