Knitted Rug

Now that I cleared up all the issues I was having, the rug is turning out beautiful. Row 56 is the increase-these are the directions:
increase Rnd 56 (Inc): Knit all sts, AT SAME TIME
increase 2 sts evenly spaced around
– 222 sts.

I realize it is only two stitches, and I get where to do this, but I was just wondering what increase to use here, kfb, or m1 or yo? It isn’t specified, and I don’t want to make it look weird. Thanks for the help

It’s really your preference. The m1 and yo (knit or purled through the back loop on the next round) work. If you decide to use the kfb, work it this way to avoid a purl bump on the front.

I’m glad this is going well. It’s going to be fun to see your finished rug.
