Knitted On Edgings

Hi All,

I am looking for knitted on edgings. Does anyone have any online “how to’s” for knitting on edgings to a shawl for instance.
I am designing my own shawl but don’t understand from books, how to knit an edging onto the shawl. Does anyone have any pattenrs knitted on edgings?

The book Victorian Lace Today has a how to section in the back that discusses various edgings and how they can be added to a shawl. See if you can get it from your library or another one in the system to take a look at it.
