He/she is a computer program designed to talk to keep things rolling in a chat room. He/she is programmed with many fine responses to questions and comments.
Everyone is right, the Knitboty is a bot that you can talk to when no one is on that chat, and it replies good things, also ask him or her:

Then Say: I just know
It Says: Keep it Between me an you
