Knit Under Loops (KUL)?

I’m trying to follow this pattern: http://www.jimsyldesign.com/~dishbout/kpatterns/honeycmb.html

Can anyone explain KUL or point me to a place where it is explained in more detail?? I’m lost!!

Where you do those rows where you slip three, you’ll end up with two strands across the front. Just put your needle under them and then knit the next stitch, and when you pull the loop through for the knit, let the two strands go with it behind the needle.

This is one of those things that when you do it, it becomes easier to understand.

You were right, as soon as I did it, it all made sense! I probably should have tried the pattern before I posted here – but I was afraid to try something I didn’t understand.
