I am knitting the Mega spun hat. The instructions say to RTK2tog. It says to insert needle into 3rd st on left needle, as to RT pull st through- do not remove from needle,K next 2 st together and pull new stitches off the left needle. This is the decrease for the hat and I’m stuck.are these instructions correct or is there another way to do the Right Twist decrease? Thanks

It’s a bit like a twisted stitch with the addition of a k2tog. Knit into the 3rd stitch but leave the stitch on the left needle. You’ll have one new stitch on the right needle.
Now knit sts 1 and 2 tog. You’ll have a total of 2 new sts on the right needle. Now slip the old sts off the left hand needle.
It may be that the best thing to do is to practice on a small swatch to see how this goes.
