You should be able to work in stockinette stitch until you get to where you want to place the single hole. Then work the directions for the opening, placing it just where you would like. Continue on with stockinette omitting the upper hole.

Yes, just keep going with the same number of stitches you have, before the instructions for the first hole, for however many rows you need up to the 2nd hole. Follow the directions for that, and then keep going on that same number of stitches, ignoring the instructions for the 3rd hole, but following any for decreases at the sides.

Thanks!!! Sorry I didn’t see this that’s why I did the second How to Question

Question. I decided to not do the Holes so my question is …
How do I make the neck line? That opening! I read this and still don’t know how to do help!!!

When you get to where you want the V of the neck opening, divide the sts in half. For the video, the 40sts were divided 20 and 20. Each side of the neck opening is then worked with its own ball of yarn (or you can pull from 2 ends of the ball or skein).
See the video at about 13min. It goes quickly here so it’s easy to miss.

God bless you! I can visualize in my mind what you are saying. I see now what the division means! Dahhh lol thank you so

That’s so kind of you. Good luck with the rest of the top and come back with any questions at all.

One more thing. Ok I got the two balls . Question do I just Knit the knits and purl the purls … WITHOUT DECREASING ANY MORE? Than just cast off on knit side when I’m finished with shoulders. I’m thinking 40 stitches each shoulder is wide? But I’m almost finished and need to know . Looking at pic now … lol

It should be 20sts each side. Work the two sides with two balls of yarn. The video says the two sides are then cast off separately so no decreases until you get to the cast off.
