Knit Hat Increasing

Hi there, this is my first post here. I’m knitting a hat for the first time and the first part of the hat is in twisted ribbing. So far, I finished the twisted ribbing and the next steps are:
-K1, kfb around. (120 stitches)

  • Increase 6 more stitches evenly around. (K20, kfb around) (126 stitches)
I’m not sure how to bar increase for 120 stitches without messing up the ribbing with a different appearance in stitches. Will the bar increase just look obvious next to the twisted ribs?
The next part after that makes sense in that I am increasing every 20 stitches, but once again, how will this fit in with the other stitches?
I can’t seem to understand how this will turn out and want to avoid undoing a bunch of stitches if I mess it up. Any help is much appreciated.

Welcome to Knitting Help!
The pattern wants you to switch from ribbing to knit sts and the kfb increases. Both of these rounds are essentially all knit. It’ll look fine once you get past these 2 increase rounds and onto the pattern with cables. These rows won’t be noticeable.

Thanks salmonmac!
