I’ve decided to make these knit-alongs an official part of this site! Check it out…there’s a new forum category called “Knit-Alongs” (here). Anyone can start a knit-along, just by starting a new thread. People can reply within that thread, to post progress pictures, get advice about the pattern, share the excitement, etc.!
