My pattern:(Row 15)-K3,yo,K2,yo,k1,ssk,k1,yo,k1,(yo,k1.s2-k1-p2sso,k1,yo,k1)across,yo,k1,k2tog,k1,yo,k2,yo,k1,ssk,k1,yo,k1,(yo,k1,s2-k1-p2sso,k1,yo,k1)across,yo,k1,k2tog,k1,yo,k2,yo,k3.
How do i do two “across”? Where would i stop one and Start the other? Do I do the stitches in between the “across” and after? I am starting with 57 stitches and this row adds 8 stitches normally. I know what across means but not when it is used this way, twice in one row and do I do all the other stitches?
Knit across two sets
Hello
Across often means to the end of the row or up to the point where there are just enough stitches left to do the last bits of infortion given.
Here though it seems more complicated.
Do you have some markers which the pattern maybe asked you to put in earlier during a set up row? The “across” may be to a marker point. Or, are you working in the round (you said row which implies flat knitting but even so) as the “across” could mean across the front, and then across the back.
I think we’ll need a bit more information to help with this.
What is the name or pattern number and designer please?
How does your pattern define “across” or “(yo,k1.s2-k1-p2sso,k1,yo,k1)across”
Yes, as Creations requested, knowing the name of your pattern and designer will help.
This row may differ from others in the pattern in that it only adds 6sts.
