When I knit and perl in the same row I get a messed up twisted yarn - what am I doing wrong?
Knit 1 perl one
Make sure when you are doing the knit stitch your working yarn is in back … then bring the working yarn to the front BETWEEN the needles to purl … take the yarn to the back between your two needles, knit.
If you cast on an odd number … you always begin your row with knit.

I spent way to much time trying to figure this out from a book before I discovered the video! I learned everything I know except knit and purl from Amy
