Does anyone know of any? I too am attempting to knit a scarf for a guy and love this pattern, but have no idea how to make it come to life as a scarf with a complimentary border and such.

I didn’t have any luck googling, so if anyone has any suggestions on a pattern, please do share~
Although, i did come across one webpage where a woman made her husband a sweater with this pattern and used seed stitch for the ribbing and it looked nice. Here’s the picture:
