Kidsilk haze

I have a single ball of kidsilk haze in my knitting bag. Its been there for two years and it keeps giving me those reproachful “you’re wasting me” looks whenever I reach in for more sock yarn. I’m not much of a lace knitter or chart follower. Is there anything simple I can do with it? Apart from use it as a very soft panscrub? :teehee:
Hep.

Panscrub? :??

You’re going to be limited because you only have one skein, but how about a narrow scarf like this? She used two colors, but no reason you can’t use one…although it may be shorter. Click patterns and then fling.

Here’s another -

Oh wait…you said no lace. Well you could use large needles and cast on a small amount and then just do garter stitch. It would be beautiful and lacy w/o really trying. :teehee:

How about some really easy lace? The Airy Scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts is a beautiful scarf.

Ice Queen from Knitty is easy and looks very impressive.

You could also team it up with another yarn.

Good idea, Ingrid!
