Kidsilk Haze finishing - weaving in ends, blocking

There must be some of you who have worked with KSH before, no?
I just finished knitting a lacey scarf with it on size 6 (or 7?) needles.
I figured out how to do kitchener stitch to graft the two halves, but now I need to weave in the ends. I’m wondering how to do that right - the fabric is so loosely loopy and airy that I wonder how to hide the weaves and also whether they will be secure that way. Any hints?

Also, I’ve never blocked anything before. I bought blocking wires etc, but I’m wondering how to treat KSH before putting them in and pinning.
Do I just get it all wet quickly in lukewarm water and then roll in a towel? The yarn said not to soak it.

Thanks for any help!

If it specifically said not to soak it you could use steam to block it or just mist it.

The yarn is pretty sticky so I wouldn’t worry to much about the woven in ends not being secure. I would just do it normally and it shoud be fine.

Thanks kemp! :muah:

I tried it just as you said, just wove in the ends and cut them after a couple of loops. They do just stick and it’s really hard to see the end even though the whole thing is so airy.

To block, I pinned it to it’s final measurements, then misted it and pressed on the damp scarf with a thin dish towel. It’s pretty much dry now but I’m leaving it pinned until tonight.

Thanks so much for your help!
