Kids Peasant Top

All season long at hockey, this cute little team sister saw me making one thing after another during practices. She finally got up her nerve and asked if I would make her something. She chose this pattern and color scheme. I finished it just in time to give to her at the end of season party. She put it right on over her red turtleneck, didn’t matter if it didn’t match. It warmed my heart to see how much she loved it. I used Red Heart yarn, for the durability and economy of it. I think a lighter weight yarn may have given a little nicer drape, but Jade herself was very happy with it just like it was. It’s from the book"Kids to Grownups Seamless Sweaters" We forgot to tie up the neck before the picture was taken. cloud9
