I’m working for the first time on DPN, using all 5 of them. I have to start out with only 2 stitches on each needle and then increase by knitting into the front and back of each stitch. It is very difficult to knit into the back of the stitches because I have a hard time getting my needle through the loop on the back. Is this common or am I knitting too tightly? I thought I was a rather loose knitter, but now I’m beginning to wonder. By the time I struggle to get that darn needle into the back of the stitch, my needles all twist around and then I have a fun time figuring out where each needle should be!

Looks like you are knitting too tightly. I’d loosen the tension a little bit or maybe switch to a size bigger DPN
Thanks, Jenelle.
