I’d like to make this sweater in a 4 toddler size. It’s a free Ravelry pattern called Keep on Truckin, by Elizabeth Smith. The largest size in the pattern is a 24 months.

What 4 year old wouldn’t want one?


It might be easiest to look for a similar cardigan in size 4T and a close gauge match and use the graph from the pattern.

Thank You! Yes, that is the pattern . I wrote to the designer , but I doubt that I will hear from her.

I’d do as salmonmac suggests. All you really need is the chart doing it that way. If you needed to you could probably make the chart larger fairly easily. It looks like a few stitches longer or taller could be done without much difficulty.

Thank You That’s what I was thinking I’m using Feels Like Butta yarn by Lionbrand . I think I can find a toddler sweater to knit in that yarn. It’s a worsted weight . If you have any suggestions for patterns, that would be great .
