Katia "Jamaica" 100% cotton

HAD to purchase a few skeins of this yarn - just gorgeous - I’m gonna try my hand at some cotton socks now.

Any tips? Anyone knit socks out of cotton?

I’m sure there are people who knit 100% cotton socks, but I wouldn’t. :slight_smile: They get really stretched out and don’t stay up. :slight_smile:

you can hold some elastic thread along with the cotton for the ribbing; that should hold them up.

cascade fixation already has elastic in it and its pretty cheap too
