I am doing mine in Araucania Nature Wool Chunky in color 125…A very pretty plum color…
I wanted to try this bag. I made the Lopi Tote, which is cute and the ladies at my Saturday knitting group all are gonna make it too.
I probably won’t start the buttonhole bag for another week or two though. Can’t wait to see how yours turns out! I love plummy colors.
I’m not sure of the finished dimensions but it is knitting up REALLY fast…I will post pics as soon as I can!

Oh my gosh, what an adorable bag. I am a handbag freak and it would please my dh no end if I made them instead of paying $$$$$ to buy them. We were out shopping for a new mattress last night and he said something about my handbag and shoe buying habits and laughed and said, “I don’t know WHY women have to have more than one purse. ONE black purse. Black goes with everything. You must have 50 purses in the closet and that doesn’t even count what we gave away to Good Will 2 weeks ago. You don’t even carry them all.” I retorted that I use them and change them out all the time. The smartpants that he is said, “Well, you can’t use them all at once so what use are they collecting dust?” Man just DOES NOT get it girls! :roflhard:
I’ve ordered some Knitpicks Sierra in Coal to make a buttonhole bag. I’ve made several felted bags and said I had enough. But this one is too cute.
