K7 sts to end? Please help

Hi, I am working on a bookmark bird.
after knitting the body, for the head I had to follow instructions for short rows. I have added the instructions below

Short row 1 K11, W+T
Short row 2 K8, W+T
3 …
4 …
5 …
6 …
7 …
8 …
9 …
End short row K7sts to end

This is the first time I worked with short rows so I cannot understand what K7sts to end means? I have 14 stitches on my needle and the next step is to knit 2 together so that from 14, there is a decrease to 7.

Welcome to the forum!

After short row 9, knit to the end of the row. This should be 7 knit sts. On the following row work across the entire 14sts, knitting 2 together across.
