K7 (K4, P2) Does this mean

I am knitting a dishcloth with a button on top and these are the directions for the first row. I ASSUME this means to knit 7 and then knit 4, purl 2 to the end of the row. Do you think that’s right? Thanks.

The (K4, P2) part, since it’s in parenthasis, is the part that will be repeated.

Probably, but is that all there is for the row? The instructions for the whole row would be easier to tell you what it means.

There is more to the row, but I don’t have it in front of me. It was easy stuff, I just wanted to make sure the stuff in parentheses was the part I would be repeating. Thanks again.
