K4p4 ribbing

I’m trying to start this pattern http://leftinstitches.blogspot.com/2005/12/dobby-hat.html and it says to cast on 70 sts and then work a k4p4 ribbing, but when I get to the end, there’s 4 knit sts and then there’s two extra. Do I purl these? Knit them?

Thanks y’all

Looks like an error in the pattern to me. You could cast on 72 stitches, I doubt it’d make too much of a difference. Or contact the author, there’s a comment button on the bottom. I don’t know.

I think Aylaane is absolutley right…Just cast on 72 stitches. Remember there are three kinds of people in the world…those that are good at math and those that aren’t

 Well, I’m one of those that isn’t good at math at’ll, that’s why I asked. Thanks again, I must’ve counted my stitches four times thinking I had cast on too many or too few.
