Not sure how to work this decrease row that is worked in the ROUND… Decrease Row: K2Tog, knit to 2 stitches remain, SSK at end of row
Question: When I work this row it looks odd with both the decrease stitches (the K2tog and SSK) touching each other. Am I working this correctly…any other way to do this?
Thanks…
Personally I would end the previous round with SSK and then begin what the instructions call “decrease round” with K2Tog, so both happen on the same “row”, directly after each other. Like this I make the decreases for the sleeves when working top down. When you have them directly after each other you are putting both “decrease ridges” against each other so they are not visible anymore. Instead you get a neat seam.
If you (as in your instructions) first do K2tog and then at the end of the round SSK, you have spiraled one row up before you do the SSK, so the SSK is not directly followed by K2tog.
