K1 yo sl1

This pattern is driving me insane. It explains that all slipped stitches should be slipped purlwise, holding the yarn in the back. I am not seeing how that works when it gets to k1, yo, sl1. If anyone can explain this thank you, I fee; I may be over complicating it.

Bring the yarn forward and over the top of the right needle as if you were going to knit, but slip the stitch. What are you making? Do you have a link and pattern name?

Pretty dishcloth!

Thank you I just hope it turns out that way, so what you said still stands. I guess it just confused me with it saying the yarn needs to be held in the back when slipped.
