(K1,P1,K1) all into the next stich

Hi there - 1st time posting a question. I have a sweater pattern that calls for me to ‘(K1,P1,K1) all into the next stich’. I have never done this before and can’t seem to find anything online. Can someone explain this to me please?

I think if you search “knit 1 purl 1 knit 1 into same stitch” you will get results (same stitch rather than next stitch).

Here’s one

Or this one

Hope it makes sense for you

Thanks so much!

Hi, I am new to knitting. Is K1,P1,K1 all into the next stich, a hard learning technic? smile7

I wouldn’t say it’s that difficult, it’s just that you need to remember to keep the stitch you just worked on the needle, instead of pulling it off because of ‘force of habit’ so to speak.
