Can someone please tell me how to go about doing this (K1,P1) in yo? I’m working on Martha Stewart’s poncho if that helps any. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a link? I found a pattern, but I didn’t see anything that said (K1,P1) in yo.
When you get to the stitch that was the yo in the previous row, knit into it as normal, but don’t slide it off. Bring the yarn forward between the needles and purl into the same stitch, then slide it off.
Cool! I learned a new trick today. :cheering:
How do I know what the YO looks like in the previous row? I’m sorry I’m so slow at grasping on.
Thanks a million Ingrid. You seem to have all the answers.

The yo from the previous row will look different from the other stitches. More of just a strand going over the needle rather than a regular stitch. You can also count along the stitches from your previous row and see which ones are the yo’s.
