K, YO, K question

I understand the knit, and how to yarn over…but then do you knit the next stitch? I put this project on the back burner almost a year and a half ago, and it seems I have forgotten a LOT! Thanks!

Yes thats correct. You would knit 1 stitch, YO, then knit the next stitch on the left needle. The yarn over is just the action of wrapping the yarn. You work the next stitch as if it were a normal knit.

Cool, thanks!

Is it k, yo, k all in the same stitch? Because that’s a little different. You knit in the stitch, leave it on the needle, wrap the yarn and knit into the same stitch again.
