Still, good to know. I think I ended up swatching and washing the last unknown yarn I had. I don’t think my test was very successful, though.
I had some unknown yarn at home and I tried to felt little bits of it unsuccessfully. Then I went to the Internet and used this method.
I work a lot from stash that I find or that get given to me and there is always an old jumper that someone will give me to recycle.
