how foolish do i feel :oops:
ive been looking at yarn in the local LYS and have been wondering what on earth ‘double knitting yarn’ was.
then out of the blue it hit me double knitting = DK it all makes sense now … how daft am i!! :wall:
hahahahah, don’t feel bad, I’ve been knitting for years and just recently figured out what “DK” yarn was!
I can’t remember the abbreviations either. I have a lamanted bit of card with them on so I can look at them when I need them instead of scrabbling through books.
