Just got the New Spring Interweave Knits Magazine

And its as good (better actually) than the preview. My only pet peave? Eunny Jang’s socks (the entrelac ones) are only sized for a size 8-9 foot. I have a smaller shoe size than this. Can you re-size entrelac?? I don’t know, but I sure am going to try. I love love love this pattern. For those that haven’t done entrelac, don’t fret, it is easier than it looks and there is a super tutorial in the magazine. For those that also like socks, check out the new sock book from Interweave Knits (Favorite Socks
25 Timeless Designs from Interweave ). Its amazing and has all the old sock patterns from old out of print interweave magazines and 6 totally new patterns. Very cool. The link to the book is here:

Ooooh, thank you! I’ll be looking for this magazine very soon. In fact, I might go all out and get a subscription. I have size 9 feet so this will be perfect! :cheering:

You’ll probably get it sooner than you think. My MIL got me a sub for Christmas and they told her it could be anywhere from 8-12 weeks or something, so I went out and bought the Winter issue. It came the next week. :roll: So I was going to give the extra to MIL, but she had bought it the day before. :roflhard:

I love the spring issue too – that Merry Maiden dress has me :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

Ooo, ooo, I’m going to get this tonight when I go to SnB. I’m really looking forward to it (as though I don’t have to finish 4 or 5 projects first).

I received my copy on Monday. I’m not a fan of the new layout, but I’m absolutely in love with some of the projects. I’m going to make the entrelac socks with knitpicks gloss (I’ll order it when i can decide on colors, any suggestions?) I’m going to have to resize the socks, because I have a size 7 foot and the pattern is written for size 8-9, but I’m sure it wont be difficult, as shortening the foot length on socks has been simple with every other pattern I’ve used.

I want to knit the Bonsai Tunic also. It will probably make me look fatter and shorter than I already am, but I love the pattern so it’s worth it…lol

anyone know what yarn I could sub for the merry maiden dress? My 3 yr old is in love with this dress, but I don’t want to make it out of wool. I’m afraid she will ruin it.
