Just got my own copy of Scarf Style!

I know I’m a bit behind the times, but I finally ordered Scarf Style from Amazon.com and just received it. I cannot decide what to make first! Everything looks so awesome! I originally ordered it for the Lady E pattern, but it looks really difficult!

If you have the book, what are some of your favored patterns in there? :yay::knitting:

Entrelac is actually pretty easy. Look up some threads here at KH for some tutorials. It was the Monthly KAL a coupla months back, lots of links there.

I have that book too, and absolutely love it! I haven’t done any of the patterns yet, but I plan on it for the coming xmas season! let us know which one you decide on!

Suzeeq, I’ve tried Garterlac before and it was pretty easy once I got the hang of it. Is Entrelac pretty much the same?

Mulderknitter, I am absolutely DYING to make the Color on Color scarf (pg 57) by Kathryn Alexander. It looks very challenging, but is really calling my name!:shock:

I’ve got a few things I have to get off the needles before I decide though.

My problem is that I want to knit some for Xmas presents, but all of my family and friends live in Florida. They don’t have too much of a need for scarves.

I bought the book about a month ago, and I want to make everything in it! Well, almost. I’m waiting for my Malabrigo to arrive to start the Turtleneck Shrug (p. 83) for my dil. Will probably do Campus Scarf (p.27) for my son then. I think Color on Color is drop dead gorgeous, and would love to make it, but my needles are booked until after Christmas.

SkyBluePink… I just order the book also from Amazon… Got it in the mail Tuesday… I want to make The lady wrap… going to make it with Malabrigo

I found a wed page on how to do the Entrelac. So I have been Practicing on it.

Garterlac is entrelac in garter stitch, but the basic technique is the same.
