Firstly, in this pattern directory:http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/womens_clothing.php it has ‘womens’ pullovers’ and ‘womens’ sweaters’. What is the difference between a pullover and a sweater? :??
secondly I am looking for a pattern for a jumper/sweater. I have looked on the pattern directory and knitty, and I just wondered if there were any other patterns that people knew of? :figureditout:
I don’t know why they separate them like that. A pullover is a sweater that you pull over your head. Some of the patterns on the sweater list are pullovers, too. Maybe they just didn’t want to have a super long list and divided the patterns with pullover in the title. But, then again, the first sweater pattern is called a pullover, but there are lots of different styles on the sweater page.
