Ive been driving myself mad trying to figure out how to do this. Ive made a bootie and need to finish it off by joining the seam together, however I cannot find any information on how to join together 2 sides of one piece if material. If anyone could help it would be SO appreciated!
Did you look on the Tips page under Finishing? It shows mattress stitch which is usually used to seam two edges together, whether from separate pieces or on the same piece.
What stitch is it and where is the seam?
The seam will be along the sole and back of the bootie.
Would the mattress stitch do the job?
It should work fine.
Is there anyway to do this using knitting kneedles?
Not easily. You can use a crochet hook though.
