Hello all! I am a new knitter - well, new to knitting anything other than scarves - and I am making my baby a sock monkey for Christmas! All has gone well until I tried joining the legs. I had two tubes, knit around one and then around the other. They are now connected and look fine…except there is a hole in the “crotch”. Is there supposed to be a hole there? Is this something I sew together later or is it something I need to go back and fix? Did I not pull something together tight enough? Thanks for your help!
I doubt you did anything incorrectly. When you join things, other than straight edges, there is often a small hole/gap. You can weave a small piece of yarn across the hole from the ws to help pull it together/closed.
