Jogless jog for knit/purl in the round

Thinking of making the above in some lovely bulky chenille, but instead of doing it end to end (K2P2) and seaming, doing it in the round top-down (or bottom up, guess it doesn’t matter  ). When changing from the K rounds to the P rounds, would a jogless jog, like when doing color stripes in the round help with disguising the spiral effect?

Or just don’t bother and hide the row changes under the center ring?

Ooooh I love it!

yeah. I always do the jogless jog when I’m in the round. Even if its a purl.

I haven’t had much luck with the jogless jog yet, but I do think once you get the hang of it it would help. I don’t like stripes being off either. :wall:

forgive my ignorance, but what is a jogless jog?

When you’re knitting in the round, you’re really knitting a spiral, so if you did a stripe of a new color, the ends won’t line up exactly, or there is a jog in the stripe. So you disguise it with a “jogless jog” like this

Thank you.
