I am knitting the Azel pullover (again, this is #5) anyway, for the neck hole you cast off and then the next row cast on again. However, each time I have made this, I have had a nasty jog where I cast on the first stitch - it is so bad I have had difficulty covering it when I am finished. Any tips on how I can make this without the jog? (the cast on is a cable cast on, would another cast on method work?) Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!
I just used a normal cast on and no hole!
Is the jog because you’re joining to knit in the round?
Here are several methods to smooth out the join. I’ve knit 2 together at the join and also used switched sts for this. I’m sure the problem is magnified with the bulky yarn in this pattern.
