i have 150g of http://www.angelyarns.com/jaeger-yarn/jaeger-cotton.php/jaeger/34. taht i bought as by mistake (but love the yarn :))
i have been trying to find a lace pattern that i can use it on but so far have come up with 1 taht i cant get on with. it just looks messy the entire time so i’ve ripped it out 5 times so far today and starting to loose heart in it.
does anyone know of anotherpattern that i could try (i havent done lace before).
i’m loosing heart fast with this yarn fast

Overall lace with mercerized cotton doesn’t usually look all that great–it won’t block well, either. :think: Maybe you could look at some scarf patterns that incorporate a bit of lace or a cool pattern stitch?

May I suggest a simple rib pattern ? Right now I am wearing a tank top I made out of Bella Color (a med. wht cotton) . I used a k4 p3 rib.
I am so glad you said its the yarn tahts wrong as i have started it over and over again saying to myself this is a mess, and just looks nasty. I will have a look at knittingpatterncentral (not somewhere i usually look for some reason). i found the pattern i have on ravelry as someone on a new to lace forum recomended the patter for with that yarn.
well, i will try second pattern lucky with this yarn then :happydance:
