Ok. I have checked out the book and have been trying to get gauge. I used a worsted weight (what the pattern calls for). I tried using hook sizes H (what the pattern calls for), I and J and it’s still not working. I might be able to get it with a size K, but the fabric using J already seems too open and doesn’t look at all like the photo. :tap:
I also tried Lion Brand Jiffy (bulky weight) using the size J hook and was finally able to get gauge. Again, this looks too open and now too heavy. :nails:
I have emailed the publisher asking about any errata. Hopefully they will get back to me soon. :shrug:
