Great job!
I finished the sweater about two weeks ago, but we have been on the road a lot. My husband is an evangelist.
Anyway, here are the finished pictures. I wish I had a better camera, but you get the idea.
I wanted the smaller toggle buttons and of course there were none to be had. The ones I used are shank leather buttons. I’m not fully satisfied with the way they cause the ribbing to look. I can live with it though since this will be more or less for wearing around the house.
If I make another one I think I will use i-cord edging and a zipper instead.
OK!! Now I am ready to punch the screen. I have resized these pictures 6 or 7 times. My program claims that they are well under the required size for uploading, but for the last 5 tries it keeps telling me that they are x amount over the limit. I don’t get it , especially when I see post that have super large pictures, etc…
I’ll try later with the pictures.
I hope these finally show up. Thanks to everyone that left a comment or advice. It is finished and I’m happy.
I love raglan sleeves in anything. From now own though I plan to make things that are worked with as few seam as possible.
It’s quicker, less work, less finishing, less bulk, just better all around in my opinion. Much easier to block too.
That looks great! I’ve always done seamless raglan…I can never figure out why the patterns are written for seaming them!
Beautiful work!
Very nice job! You should be proud. :notworthy:
that surely is one to be proud of! Great work!
Thanks everyone. With the days getting cooler I’ll be wearing it soon.
That is really a great sweater! It looks like it will be so cozy and warm.
Wow! That is really pretty!
