Just had to share a triumph. I’m working on my very first actual sweater. I’m doing it in the round, top down, so I realize I could have tried it on as I went, but (a) I really, really hated the thought of taking it off the needles and putting it back on, and I didn’t have a long enough cable to keep it on the needles, and (b) honestly, I don’t have the experience to know how to adjust as I go.
So, I’ve been a little afraid that it wouldn’t be big enough…but I just bound off the body and tried it on…IT FITS!! :woot:
Now…to do the sleeves and I’ll have a new sweater for fall!
(Thanks for letting me share. I’ll try to get pictures at some point).
Hi! congrats!
I wanted to give that tip with the second circular needle as well.
Any other circ works as long as it is the same size or smaller that your project needles.
That is how I try things on that are worked in the round, even if they are not top down. (I have never made a top down except for a hat and that I was not happy with :D)
