My friend has this hat and I’m not experienced enough to know if it’s knit or crochet. I’m thinking it’s knit, but would like several second opinions :teehee:
If it’s knit, does anyone recognize a pattern similar to it?

That does not look like knit so I think it is crochet, but I’ve now seen some knit stitches that don’t look knit. :think:
[B][U]Crochet[/U][/B]: I’d say it is a “woven stitch” or “granite stitch” pattern. I am uncertain as to what stitches was used; it doesn’t look like SC nor like DC (US definitions) so I would guess HDC (half-double crochet -US) or perhaps even a haringbone half double crochet.
