I have a symbol that I want to but on a hat, but i’m not sure how to make a pattern for it, and I was wondering if there was anything on line that would spit out a pattern for me.
Thanks
Jess

Thanks! Your the best Ingrid!!
Theres alwasy this page too
Here’s another cool one
Ingrid - wow! the KnitPro graphing program is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time! An great solution to a project my son wants me to knit involving working in lots of symbols… that will be much easier now. :cheering:
There is also this, which will give you any gauge graph paper. I read somewhere, and I plan to do this one day, that if you print out the paper to the size you want and have it copied onto a transparency, you can just put that over your picture and knit from there. I thought that was a fantabulous idea, since the KnitPro sometimes either doesn’t have the right size, or the pictures are blurry.
There are transparent plastic graphs available that do exactly what you said, Ingrid. I’ve only found them in packs, 6 sizes. They are made for embroidery or something like that, but can be used in a limited fashion for knitting. I got them, if I remember correctly, at A C Moores, not too expensive. They’re called TRANSGRAPH-X, by L J Originals.
Thanks! I’ll have to check that out!
