I mainly knit. It’s been a while, but I still know how to do several crochet stitches. Can someone refer me to a CROCHET FORUM or if knitters know what crochet stitch or pattern made these
wash cloths:

I can’t quite tell, but it looks like it might be a corner to corner pattern (often abbreviated C2C.) If you can’t find what you need here, Crochetville might be able to help you.

Pattern stitch? It looks like a Shell or fan stitch. I will look up the common term
