Hello all,
I’m knitting a ruffled and ruched scarf for my wife and the pattern calls for M1 on RS rows (I’m doing M1 away since the pattern doesn’t specify what type of M1). My problem is on the WS rows it calls for knitting the knit stitches snd purling the purl stitches. Are the M1 stitches considered K or P? They look more like purl than knit on the needle but the feel more like a knit when I place it (when I make the loop in back of the needle and slip it to the right needle). As always, any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Greg
That’s a good question. See what the pattern calls for in the next RS row and then the following rows for that column of sts. If ithe M1 is the beginning of a column of knit sts as seen from the RS (a column of Vs), then purl the M1 on the WS, for example.
