Is it that simple I dont get it?

I’m making Saartje’s bootees ( off ravelry)…

pattern requires m1 using backward loop.

Is this just so easy i cant get it? I looked on the video section but there isn’t one called m1 using backward loop. Is it known another way?

help help. in a rush to finish these booties!

Thanks!

Look under videos on this site. Go to cast ons and the second one down is the single cast on or backward loop.

Is that it? i can do that in the middle of a row?

Yep! I have used the backwards loop to increase stitches in the middle of a row a few times myself.

Super thanks!!! It’s working out great! I’ll be sure to post a pic on ravelry… im couturehousewife there too!

You can also do a knit or cable cast on in the middle of a row or at the end/beginning of a row if the pattern says to CO.

Aren’t they just the cutest little booties ever?
