Is it possible to block superwash?

I’m knitting a baby sweater and i was wondering if it’s possible to block superwash. The bottom is curling up and I’m hoping blocking will fix it.

Another concern though. The sweater is a gift for my Sister (she’s pregnant). What will she have to do when she washes it? Just lie flat to dry? Will that keep it from curling?

I just blocked some superwash. It wasn’t curling as much as yours, but it did flatten out. I just sprayed it with water and pinned it, but I imagine you could steam it or immerse it in water and squeeze out then shape.

When you wash superwash wool, especially for the first time, it will relax considerably. After that, just wash and lay flat.
